Protect Hub

Protect Hub is the ClavisAUH defensive community: a place where software makers learn and share how to keep their apps safe from crackers and reverse engineers. The Hub only accepts defensive content, and has a Library of official articles, learning paths and a reputation system that keeps quality high.

Reading and searching

  • Protect Hub is public and needs no account. Posts are sorted by Hot, New or Top.
  • Search ignores Vietnamese accents, so a query typed without them still finds accented posts.
  • Filter by topic with the tags under Topics: Fundamentals, Network, Device, Integrity, Operations.
  • Every post has a table of contents, an estimated reading time and a Discussion section below.

The Library and learning paths

The Library holds official, bilingual, defensive-only articles. Each one is tied to the matching protection method in ClavisAUH, with a Turn it on in your app box that opens that method on the Protection page.

Learning paths put Library articles in reading order for one goal:

  • Protection basics in an hour, for beginners.
  • Stopping key sharing across machines and people.
  • Making your software hard to reverse.

Joining the community

Sign in with a ClavisAUH account whose email is verified to vote, bookmark, comment and write. Every member has a public profile page with their Reputation, badges and posts.

Writing a post

  1. Click Write a post on the Protect Hub page.
  2. Enter a title, up to 5 tags separated by commas, then write the body in Markdown. Code blocks marked with a language, for example ts, are highlighted when published; the Preview pane shows the result beside the editor.
  3. Click Publish, or Save draft to finish later.

Posts go live at once, unless they fall into one of the cases that wait for a moderator (shown as Waiting for review):

  • They contain a sensitive keyword configured by the ClavisAUH team.
  • They contain outside links and you have less than 50 reputation.
  • The account is less than a day old and has already posted twice that day.

Community rules

If you see a post or comment that breaks the rules, click Report and pick a reason: Cracking guide, Malware, Cheat, Spam, Harassment or Other. Moderators review each report and can:

  • Keep the content as it is.
  • Remove it, and the author loses 20 reputation.
  • Warn the author.
  • Pause the author's posting and commenting for a number of days (7 by default). During that time, posting returns the error muted.
  • Promote an outstanding post to the Library.

How can we help?

Frequently asked

What is ClavisAUH?

A licensing and authentication service for desktop software: license keys, device binding, end-user sign-in and signed responses. All run from one dashboard

Why can't a cracker fake your server?

The SDK only trusts answers signed with your app's private key. That key never leaves our servers, so a fake server can't sign and gets rejected

What ends up in my binary?

Your app id and public key. Nothing secret, because each device makes its own key pair on first run

Does it work offline?

Yes. Every plan gets a signed offline token for 7 days, and your app checks it locally. Premium lets you choose how long. A revoked license can keep working offline for that time, unless Online-Only Mode is on

Which languages are supported?

JavaScript and TypeScript today. C++, C# and Python are next, on the same open protocol

Is Basic really free?

Yes. No time limit, no card. Move to Premium when you need more
